Hi, Is there a rule of thumb for the Ac power bricks, like Lionel 180 watt powerhouse, to use per feet of track. Assume the wiring is bus wired using 12 gauge wire for both the bus and soldered track feeds at six feet intervals.
I have to move my layout from its present location to a new place. It is currently mostly star wired with multiple power hubs and works fine. So would you suggest I add the current track feeders to a bus and then create a powered blocks equal to the current star wired blocks and simply try it.
