I'm looking for A digital AC voltage/amp panel meter to install between the transformer and TIU, so I can monitor what the engines are using for volts and amps. And also look for inconsistencies in track voltage. Thank you in advance for any information.

I prefer analog meters, they are much easier to "read". In fact you do not need to "read" them as a quick glance at the needle's angle that it is pointing tells you all you need to know. This is the meter that I use on my 12 VDC power supply for my radios; f.s. is 23 VDC and the pointer is at 13.6 or so. The printed scale is unimportant.
I had purchased 3 AC V/A combination meters, they were rated 50-200v , 0-100A. Only one of the meters worked, the other two would flash on and off but not register any current. Is it possible the transformer output power is too low for them to work. Thank you Rob and Gary for your help.
