are there still plans to do some of the accessories that were mentioned a long time ago? if so, is there a schedule?

They are not dead. We are working on designs and getting pricing from Lionel. We are behind schedule because of the passing of our product development manager, Lou Caponi. We are hoping to still offer them to our members in the near future. No definitive timing yet. Additional information will follow. Thank you for your patience.
