I have an HO scale Walther's Whitehall station. I purchased it and want to adapt it to fit S scale. I realize that it will need to be made higher and I will need to add S size doors but, I am not sure how much I need to raise the building, looking for guidance.

Well, my interpretation could be off base on what "raising" means. Here are the converted dimensions of the building dimensions (assuming my excel is correct). the HO model reflects a real building 134' x 40' x 23' roughly:

Intesting how S is in the middle between HO and O as people say.
Scaling up from HO to S is the ratio of the scales: HO is 1/87 and S is 1/64, so the scaling factor is 87/64 = 1.36.
