Adding color to LED's

I thought I would share some things I found out about coloring strip LED's.

This is probably not new to many of you but if it is, this seems to be a neat way to add color the the lights.

I used my Wife's alcohol inks. used less than a drop on each light. in fact I bushed it on using a cut paper match stick.

What I don't know if the ink could cause the LED to overheat.

by the way, these strip LED's are a lot of fun to "play" with.
