David,

I have 23 Korber Kits on my layout and yes, it can be a hassle putting in the "glass"  What I do to help this go more smoothly is I tape them in place rather than using glue which always ends up on the glass.  I do as many windows at the same time as possible.  I do use more of the glass material that you usually get with each kit.  You can find it at craft stores or maybe even Office Depot or other office supply stores.  Good luck.  I just finished a 5 stall round house that had about 44 widdows also the electrical sub station had even more.  If you use really sticky tape it will stay on for ever.  I have some that have been on for over 15 years now.

Depending on the look you want, and how much material you have, one way is to glue the "glass" sheet to the wall inside the building after you have installed the windows.  In this way you place bead of fast setting glue around the windows, not super close to the frame to avoid bleed through.  The sheet of plastic can cover the entire wall in this case.

This approach is not really useful on something like the roundhouse where you can see in, but on something like the power station, or the general office, or many other kits, this approach is fast and works well.

You can also use some sort of opaque  if you want to have a muted view inside the building and just let light out.  material is available form most craft stores, and also used as privacy kits sold at home stores for the  window in your home in a bathroom.  This provides a frosted look.

If I can be of help, you can email me with more quesitosn.

Good luck.
