I just bought an MTH Long Island die cast bus (30-50064). The bus looks great, but it needs people, has anyone every taken this type of bus apart? I took the chassis off from the frame, but the plastic seat insert won't budge. Any suggestions?

I've taken a couple of this model type apart in order to shorten them/convert them to 'Streets, and don't remember the interior being difficult to remove, but I can't recall the details. I'm fairly certain it just snaps into place or is held in place by the lower chassis. Sometimes on these buses the window insert is very difficult to remove - at least without breaking it, but the interiors always come out with a little prying and careful work.
Thanks for your input Lee, I'm trying to be careful, don't want to ruin a $40.00 bus. I was hoping that there is a trick on removing the interior.
