I am installing a puffer board and an MTH AA-2100002 fan driven smoke unit. I have ERR Cruise Lite and Sound commander already installed. Is the Heating element in the smoke unit 30 ohms or do I need to replace with a 30 ohm. If so, is the Mouser #594-AC01W30R00J a good one to use or you have something better. MM

The heater in that smoke unit will be 8 ohms and incompatible with the TMCC board.

This is the resistor I use, it's a 20 ohm 5W square one.

Stackpole CB5JB20R0

I take these and crush them in a vise diagonally, out pops a perfect smoke resistor.

I knew it was getting too hot!! Stackpole is out of stock on your resistor, Does Hennings have them?
