Hi Everyone,

I have been lucky to get the latest Lionel Class J Legacy (Spirit of Roanoke version) and I would like to put together a somewhat prototypical private owner passenger consist that might represent a private owner excursion behind the 611. I am hopeful you can make some suggestions I can follow up. I would like a mixture of streamlined lighter weight smooth, fluted and heavyweight cars, mixed lengths and, I assume, road names, too. I assume I can mix in some tail end cars/observations that would have been end of train only in the past. It would be fun if I can assemble different road names with different color schemes. I will do some Internet research but I have only had uniform road name/scheme passenger cars in the past and I want this train to be very different, but as prototypical as I can make it. So many thanks, in advance, for those of you kind enough to help me do some thinking and planning.

The consists were different in different years (I'm talking about the ones in the last few years). The basic coach cars were often from the same pool of Norfolk Southern cars, but the private-owner cars varied. In 2017, on some trips, the CZ Silver Solarium brought up the rear.

ADD:  Some other cars in the consist were FEC St. Augustine, Warriors Rest, Lake Pepin, and several dome cars. Further ADD: I see B&O Moonlight Dome in a late May 2017 trip.

I realize this is a terrible pic for ID'ing individual cars - but it gives you some idea of one consist from 2017.
