I picked up the full size diesel shop from Altoona Model Works during the April York show. After putting it off for a few months I decided to finally open the box. I was pleasantly surprised when the build appeared to be much easier than the AMS roundhouse (still worth the effort!). I was able to get it fully assembled in a few weeks (mostly working for an hour here or there after kids were in bed. I filmed the process for those interested in adding this kit to their layout. The service platform is now complete and that video will be posted in a few weeks. I still need to build the side shop.
