Thanks bill..t bolt..doesn't think he does..
Waiting for harry...Hennings...
I don't think you'll find too many parts especially rods and the like, sorry to say. I looked through my stuff and I have exactly 1 partial side rod.
There are MANY variations of this loco type so beware.
Thanks rob..I have one drive rod ..as a pattern..
The side rod can't figure out what that square thing is on frt wheel.
This came from St. Louis...my cousin sent it..think it was her husbands dads..
You might know this.. What store was M.T.M.. They sent a pike master bought from there..

Having a pattern is good.... It'll be the same configuration on the other side. A fair bit of Flyer here in STL. No idea MTM store, trains were sold in a number of stores back in the day.
Square thing... On the drive wheel? Its for the eccentric crank. in the pic above, the left hand hole is square to fit it.
David Trickel list the parts for a #420 on page 11 of his catalog as: AOC3B combination rod, you would need two and AO420-1 you need one of these, as you already have one and AO420-2 screws and spacer(one side)x2. As far as I know he can only be reached by phone 615-630-1836. Hope this helps.

Riki,
Most of these parts are listed and pictured on our web site under MEW. I do not have the wheels w/ the wrap-a-round rim, but there is hope for them in the future. Harry
Thanks .Chris .And Harry..
Well, good to know these parts are out there, I had given up looking for them. Of course the loco that I need fixed needs a different configuration.... Ill check trickle and Hennings.
Henning's does have more than I realized. To find it go to there web site click on (shop model engineering works) then on the left side there is a shaded area, scroll down to mew click the drop down arrow there and you will see a list for prerwar american flyer ives etc, o gauge and std. gauge. Henning's is great to deal with. David Trickel is a source I found a few years ago. Call him at 615-630-1836 and request a catalog. He has a very good selection prewar flyer, ives, dorfan and a few others.
Chris
