I have never seen it produced and maybe it was something in a Mike Wolf interview, but does anyone remember MTH planning to produce a modern version of the Lionel 115/116 passenger stations in ABS plastic, similar to what they did with the Hellgate bridge?
Maybe I’m misremembering or made it all up in my head, but I swear this was coming years back and never did. Anyone else remember this?

Honestly, no.
I do remember reading something about it and always assumed they made them. Even after doing a little digging, I could not find anything on them.
They were apparently never made.
They went as far as to offer an instruction sheet...

If I were doing a cityscape for a hirail layout, I would welcome such a model. Plastic would allow more detail and fit in better with the rest of the buildings. The original is perfect for a tinplate layout, but a plastic version would have a place in another context.
I saw a clean almost new for $115 bucks!
