What would I expect to pay for one of these good running condition?

Which one?
go to the Live Auctioneers site. join; search completed auctions. you will likely find a variety of Flyer Wide Gauge trains in various conditions and typically selling in the general ballpark price range. be aware that very small variations, not always in the description, may account for a good deal of the hammer pricing you will find.

Some of the more common small sets can be found in nice condition for $300-500.00. The bigger a presidential types, well a decent bank balance is required.

Hey Steve, email sent.
The dealer said its comparable to a "Monarch"? The pricetag is $700, no track or controller. decent condition with accent paint gone from locomotive and tinder.
On the Buy/Sell board, I have just posted a very nice, running A.F wide gauge set.

Thank you for your interest! I would have replied directly, but I note that there is no contact information in your profile? Regarding the wide gauge set that I have for sale. The engine and tender are repainted, the lead, trailing wheels and side rods are replacements. The motor has been serviced and the wiring has been replaced. For additional information, please contact me at the email address provided in my profile or call the number provided in my ad. I try and keep contact offline to avoid the rules against"bumping".
