Ameri-Towne Building Question

The walls are molded in brick-red polystyrene and are 1/4" thick. The other parts are all molded in gray plastic.

Red wall panels.  

Cornice pieces are grey.

Roof material is grey

Sidewalks grey. 

Grey is maybe a light grey. 

There are detail sheets for the windows along with acetate to simulate glass.

No base or foot print is provided.

Some cutting or fabrication may be required on the more advanced kits.

     This is a video on my You Tube channel, that shows how to build one of these kits. This is one of two videos on this topic, on my channel.  Their are a lot of model railroaders on You Tube, that talk about these kits. I would recommend any of these Ameri-Towne Kits. 

I second Gary's statement- recommend.

There's a good deal to recommend as to Ameri-Towne structures.  Thing is, you can personalize to your heart's content.  Here's a few I'm working on for background buildings.  The police station brick front is just a wash of white acrylic paint wiped off to accent mortar lines.  The other panels are painted with various rattle can colors.

All:  Thanks for the recommendations! I liked the overall size and price of the models for my 4.3 x 10' layout.

I have several Ameritowne structures. They are all pre-"painted" but I customize them prior to construction with new window frame colors, etc., and interiors. Also put a dull-coat on them, and add extra detail. They are a really good value.
