Our Hoopla service plan has a 10 million pages per month limit, so I'm going to have to upgrade the plan soon!

Many thanks to all you folks for making and keeping this the busiest place on the Internet to talk about O gauge trains!

Thanks goes out to ALL of the members and advertisers for making this forum what it is today!  One interesting stat is that we have had an upswing of younger folks joining the forum.  This may be attributed to a certain extent by the "HONGZ" forum..??  Whatever the reason, it is a positive trend in my opinion.

Once again...thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement!!

Alan

The best part of the OGR Forum is the Model Train Industry from small to large companies support this Forum

If I am on my Smart / iPhone they are only one touch away, if I am on my MacBook Pro they are only one click away. It is so large they have to rotate ads in out or just check the ad index.

One more very important aspect of the OGR Forum is that they are part of the O Gauge Railroading Magazine. My layout has been in this magazine two times and one time as a feature article in Run 278 June/July 2015 and my name and the name of my layout was on the cover.

As a model railroader the most prestigious accomplishment for your layout and train room is to be published in a National Model Railroad Magazine. Thank-you OGR Publishing. When friends visit my train room, it is one of the first things I show them.

Rich, congratulations. What a wonderful service you provide - unquestionably a great resource and so friendly to use.  Kudos to you and your staff and for members like Barry and Guns who can provide quick and valuable answers to thorny problems. I find myself gravitating to the forum often not only for personal issues but for my general enlightenment, as well.

Glad to see this place still growing.  While there are other good forums out there that I belong to, OGR has the largest collection of knowledgeable folks willing to help a brother out.

I think that the success of OGR lays strictly at the feet of it's membership.  Rich and the gang do a great job of providing the house but it's up to all of us to make it our train home on the web.  With that in mind think about how you want to be treated in your home and go from there.

Thank you to all the great sponsors and the entire OGR staff for making and keeping this forum the best around.

i have lost count of the number of times I have asked for help about something.  In every case I have received multiple knowledgeable replies of advice.

it is safe to say that even though I  never have to worry about OGR knocking on my door to feature my layout in the magazine, the layout is far better than I could do on my own thanks to the help of the members.

Thank you very much,

Ed

Marty, I couldn't agree more with what you stated above, and especially with the sentence that I bolded.

I love this Forum.  So much so that it's the only toy/model train forum I belong to and participate in.  However, like Marty said, there are other choices out there, and unfortunately, this Forum has lost several great long-time contributors recently.  In some cases it's because of the way they've been treated by other members here.

Congrats, OGR, for setting a new record!  It is tough enough to become the best at something (or "make it to the top")...it's even more difficult to remain there!  It's up to us (the members) to keep the OGR Forum on top!

Mr. Melvin, As I have always stated - O Gauge Railroading - The Magazine of The Truth.

I absolutely enjoy this Forum since it's the only toy/model train forum I belong to and participate in. Additionally, your reviews are always honest and right to the point. Congratulations for setting a new record!

To become the best at something or "make it to the top" is always a challenge, but one that this Forum consistently remains at the top.

So, with this said, Congratulations to the entire staff at O gauge Railroading.

When I first discovered this forum 15 years ago, I thought I knew a lot about trains.  After reading the forum a few months, I realized I didn't know squat!  I've learned so much from all the great hobbyists here that has exponentially increased my enjoyment of model railroading.  And, unexpectedly, all the wonderful people I have met and became friends with from the forum.

I'm not surprised at the success and increased viewership.

But, on the down side (well, not really), this forum has caused me to spend way more money on trains than I ever thought I would!  But I'm having a magnificent time!

Thank you, Rich, and all those who have a hand in operating, and participating, in this Fabulous Forum!

Absolutely correct, Marty. It is members like you and the thousands of others who enjoy reading and participating in this forum that make it the busiest place on the internet to talk about O gauge trains.

Yep...our advertisers and forum sponsors also deserve a lot of credit for the on-going success of this forum.

MartyE,

Man do I agree with you, I do believe that in any home the head of the house hold is the Boss.  I worked for a man, that when he walked into the room, you knew the Boss was home.  I especially like the OGR forum because I know Rich Melvin is the same kind man.

Congrats again Rich for running the best forum on the Net.

Congratulations and THANK YOU to Rich, Ed and Jim along with the four original sponsors. Over nine million is a huge number, but each post was one at a time.  Although time has passed I often think of the late Gil Finn and the our internet friendship.  This relationship would not have been possible without OGR.  Frank

Car forums, wood working, etc. are OK, but the OGR forum is the best of any forum by far, in my evaluations.  I am always amazed when I talk with someone who professes to be a train buff and they are unaware of its existence.  Of course I light the lantern and hope to show them the way to a better path along this hobby/interest.  Very good and proud to be a member of the group, if not always a member of the knowledge base.  It is all as time and money allows!
