Another Santa fe Caboose Question

Neither, look at the Santa Fe "Grape Train" on page 145.  There is a caboose.  That is what the caboose should look like.  MTH has made some cabooses in a very similar paint scheme.

Just so happens I am building one now with "highball signals" and window screens.

I'm working on this one, I am a little farther along than the picture, but not finished.  It will be a while before I get back to it.

Thanks marker! Looks like the right "type" of caboose but wrong decoration. I guess if I were to pick from those I posted the less "flashy" decorated "axy dent" may be the better choice. Now I just need to get my hands on some of those Lionel "map" reefers

Do a search for MTH 30-77183. Bought mine at T&K hobby for about $35.00. Not totally correct, but fairly close.

Type in ATSF caboose and hit "images" on a google search.  No blue units, no war bonnet. Wide vision and end cupola.  Wood and steel sided cupola, steel could be welded or riveted.  Paint scheme would be dependent on time period being modeled.
