Does any one know when ground based transformers and underground power lines came into vogue as opposed to pole based? I'm modeling the mid to late 60's in southern Indiana and even though I was around then my mind was most likely focused on girls & cars (not sure which order that's in). What I have in place is a ground based cross connect box for the Morrison's Doors Factory with a pole feed to a transformer on the rear wall. The cross connect box seems to beg another question ... is it appropriately sized?
Thanks for any and all responses.
