Anyone know how many volt amps MTH's Christmas houses need? They're mostly LEDs, tiny ones, and two interior bulbs (incandenscent I think).

fwiw, I am powering 5 MTH Christmas buildings with an old (1980s) Lionel 5.5 volt-amp DC variable output transformer.

Connect the power through a amp meter (like the ones they give free with coupon from Harbor Freight). Set it to the type of voltage either AC/amps or DC/amps and get your reading. Also make sure to set the transformer to the desired brightness that you require.
Once you have this reading you can mark it with a label on the bottom of the structure for the supply voltage/amperage. This would be good as you will not have to duplicate your efforts
