Working on wiring stop stations with no original wiring intact. i need a simple explanation of the locations and contact points for the internal wiring of the switch. thank you.

I suggest that you invest in a few books by, Bruce Greenberg. His repair guides to repair prewar Lionel pieces are very good.

Another resource you would enjoy, TCA "Q" Archives.

It's never too late to start your own reference library covering prewar Lionel.
