Are All Atlas SW8/9 Body Shells Interchangeable?

Will a body/shell from a 3-rail version mount on a 2-rail version's chassis? And vice-versa? Without modification?

Or, a shell from one where the speaker is mounted in the fuel tank ... to one of the early models with the speaker mounted under the top body grill?

None of that stuff matters?
