The 765 will be going back to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad this year on April 25, 26, and 27.

Got my ticket already. It's been a few years so I thought I was due for a ride.
Planning to take the grandsons up to see the 765. Not sure if we're going to ride (I am a CVSR member), but I think the boys will like seeing a big steam locomotive up close and personal. The 5- and 7-year olds really enjoyed the North Pole Adventure ride this past November.

Did they ever determine why the train went off the tracks around Christmas? Scary event for those families.
I was a very minor problem. A rail rolled over due to some spikes in the Peninsula siding working loose. It happened at about 5 mph - hardly a “scary” event.
