I am looking for a pair of B&M "Bluebird" F-units and I know that Williams-by-Bachmann makes/made a set (#20107). I was wondering if they were "Scale" sized or "Traditional" sized.
Thanks.

Williams are 'traditional' sized very similar to Lionel's PW F units and Railking Scale F units.
Thank you.
More information leads to more accuracy.
Williams makes/made four different locos called F units.
Williams EMD F3 units are almost scale. They need to be 1/4" taller to be full scale size.
Williams EMD F7 units are scale size, but some folks complain about the nose contours.
Williams Alco FA-1 are scale size and highly detailed.
Williams Alco FA-2 are very small - the same size as K-Line FA units and Lionel FA units from the 50's.
I was considering the WBB F3 set #20107 (B&M Bluebird). Thanks.
Seller on ebay has a nice A-B-A set.
listed as F7 but is actually an F3 set.

As far as I know, the only Williams F units made in that livery are the F3 units pictured.
I've been asking myself this question for a while since I really enjoy running traditional more than scale and the Williams price point is too good to ignore. From what I gathered from various topics on this is it seems they are closer to scale size than they are to traditional size, which is what RoyBoy indicated, but I am interested to see what you think if you go through with the purchase.
