Several years ago, I picked up some Christmas putz-style houses that are approximately S to O Gauge size. I wonder if there are some OGRR members who have similar putz structures on their layouts or in their collections, and would share some photos. I am especially interested in the one's that look truly "small batch" and hand-crafted for train layouts--using cardboard, paint, glue, salt, sawdust, and other kinds of basic materials.
I am told they were often made and sold by Fire Departments as fundraisers around the holidays.
