From the demos that I have seen, when using Command Control Fastrack Switches, the LCS app lets you control the switch with a tap and displays the status of the switch. With older Fastrack remote switches, if you use them with the ASC2, will the LCS app give the same functionality as far as controlling and viewing the status of the switches?

Yes, when using the ASC2, the iPad screen/LCS App will update to show the last commanded position of a connected remote operating switch. Just like the demos showing operation of the command controlled remote switches.

Thanks for the reply.
I already have the LCS WiFi and power cable on order. I have just now ordered 2 ASC2's and several PDI cables (just to have some spares).
And, I plan to buy an iPad tomorrow.
Are you saying the SC2 will not work with the LCS app to control the Fastrack switches?

I was answering a question specifically about the ASC2. More generally, any command controlled switch that is operable from a Lionel CAB remote (including switches connected to an SC2) are also operable from the LCS App / LCS WiFi.

I can personally tell you that all the command switches that I have, either through the SC2 or Command internally work just perfect with the LCS app/WiFi.

As of now, there is no feedback if the switch is changed by the non-derailing function or manually, right?
I don't see any way for the switch to feed back that info.
I don't either.
It's going to require more wires (and another LCS kind of box) to become truly wireless...
