I recently completed my layout and ran all the drops and wired it up nicely. I used the wired Atlas rail joiners. I'm curious to know if its possible the glue/fluid I used to secure the ballast is getting sucked into the rail joiner at the track connections due to capillary action? Thereby reducing the conductivity.
I notice the loco slows or stops on some sections when running at low speed. Or could it be that I'm just underpowered (80w transformer powering 1 loco over about 150' of track)?
