I finally managed to get this on the layout today. It has been laying around on the work bench for about the last 6 months in various stages. I am going to pretty much call it complete!! I added Northeastern scale lumber for the decking and added some lights to the structure. I would like to do some weathering on it maybe down the road.

Jeff that's look good, I have one of them to do down the road, I have a big sawmill I have been working with a lot of other building to go with the mill, like all the other thing's that go on a layout it take time keep up the good work .

Joe, I found some images on line of the EL and simply copied & pasted them using Word on the computer. At that point we just played around with the size of the lettering, etc. until it fit the area of the building. I used a heavy card stock for the sign and used small screws to attach it to the building, this way I can change the signage if I want over time.

Mine, unfortunately, is still in the sealed box...along with a few other kits. Between the club layout and a "no build" view by the "Department of the Interior" little progress has been made on the home layout.

AGHRMatt, I always have the hardest time trying to figure out what colors to use on structures? I ended up using Krylon Satin Expresso spray paint on the platform & flat white on the building. Pretty happy with the results. Now, if I could just figure out how to weather my buildings & structures!!
