BIG TRAIN,

Ummh....maybe not. Just went over to the Atlas Model Railroad site and while the drop down box under "Information" has a button you can click on for "parts diagrams", only the N and HO Scale diagrams are present. When I click on any O Scale model, I am hurled back out of the site to internet search menus. While their blog states that the archive for the Master Line Locomotives is complete, I can find no evidence that is true or button to click on to take me to the archive in question. While I agree that this is an upgrade long over due, since it was done for N scale and HO scale, I'm a bit worried that this will be a very slow process that will provide me with more than several headaches until it is done. The A-Z shipping schedule is intact and listed as "Production Schedule" in the "Information" drop menu.

I think AtlasO is a separate domain from Atlasrr.com.  The error message I get says something like the AtlasO site or host or whatever can't be found.  I'm guessing it's no longer functioning.  If the links for the O scale parts diagrams still list the AtlasO domain, and that domain isn't functioning, then the links won't work.  I'm sure eventually the links will get reset to point to a location on the still current server.

The production schedule under the information tab includes the shipping schedule.  I think eventually most if not all of the functionality of the old AtlasO site will migrate over to the new site.

At "shop.atlasrr.com", parts diagrams are available via the "Information" tab at the top.  However, currently the O scale diagrams are not loading.  Links for the N and HO scale diagrams point to Atlasrr.com, which is clearly an active server.  Links for O scale diagrams still point to AtlasO.com, which now appears to be inactive.  So until those links are corrected, the O scale diagrams are not currently available.

Regarding pictures, Atlas has essentially never had in the parts listings.  And frequently when they do, they are pictures of anything but the actual part.  I hope this is being addressed.

As noted in the pop that loads when you open Atlasrr.com, the new site is a work in progress still, so some things may be incomplete or inactive at the moment.

Is there a spot where they show the monthly new product announcements like the Atlas O site?  Me, like I am sure many, checked that page frequently looking for what was new and to look at the pictures of those announcements.  If this site does not have it, I think that is a big marketing mistake.

Under the "Catalogs" tab on the home page.  New pre-order announcements by month, dating back to late 2016.

Like others have said, they are getting there step by step and the search engines are slowly catching up. Case in point, I was looking up some Atlas tankers today. When my search was "atlas 3004801", the first match was at the old www.atlaso.com. However when my search was "atlas 3004803", the first match was the following...

Here's what I like about the new layout. On the old site, there was a page for product announcements all laid out chronologically. If you wanted to see all the road names that Atlas has released in the 8,000 gallon tankers, you would have to scroll down this enormous page looking for announcements for the 8,000 gallon tanker. Now you have it all on one page.

Suffering from "reefer madness"? Here's all the 40-foot wood reefers (almost) on one page...
