I'm new to the hobby and building my first layout with Atlas O track and DCS as the command system. I just purchased the turntable and roundhouse kit and I want to make sure I wire the turntable correctly so that I can control it with my DCS remote control. Can the turntable be wired through the AIU and be added to the remote control for operation or is there another way I should be doing it? Also, do I need to wire it through the rectifier?  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Yes, But it will take 2 Accessory channels if you want it to rotate both directions unless you add an external polarity switch.

If you are satisfied always turning the same direction one channel will suffice.

Note, Use Act, not on - off unless you have a fair ways to rotate and don't want to hold the button.

Use the IN (common) and 1 (normally open) connections on the channel in question. In and 2 are a normally closed contact on the relay.

A rectifier should be used if the motor for the TT is a DC type, which I would expect it is to be able to rotate both ways. Consult the TT instructions.
