The magnet receives common (outside rail) from the track, so you need to place a wire with momentary switch from the screw terminal of the (magnet) track to your preferred constant voltage "hot" terminal, such as Red or ABCD on any conveniently phased power source that shares a common ground (including the track transformer).  Alternately, you can wire it to the same wire that goes to the middle rail of the track, with the caveat that the track would need to be energized for it to work.
