I am having an issue with pick up rollers on the latest Lionel ES44s and Sd70s catching on the slide shoe of my 072 and High speed switches. I contacted Atlas, customer service, they have a slide shoe ramp for the 072, but nothing for the hi speed switch. I have a newer hi speed switch and it has rails which prevents the issue (PIC) attached, I have 11 older ones that do not have the rails. Wanting to see if anyone else is experiencing the issue or have a resolution for it.

I had a different issue with the standard somewhat aging Atlas O72 switch. Some locomotives would drop a roller into the switch and then it would pole-vault the locomotive off the track! On a LionMaster PRR T1 Duplex, it ripped the forward facing roller right off the locomotive! I soured on Atlas switches after that, I use Ross. 
Yes sir, I am pretty sour about this issue, not any help from Atlas makes it worse. I have too many switches to swap out.

Should be able to solve this by sticking a piece of plastic in there to prevent the roller from dropping in. Don’t think you need to rip out the switches to get rid of this problem.
@tynaskos I was in the same boat but luckily we had not built our layout sold it took a beating on but with no support from Atlas did not want to continue. I was wanting to go scale trax but missed the boat on that so now it will be Ross.
How about a GarGraves wooden tie? This works very well on my K Line O72 switches, and may be worth a try with Atlas.
I have those little rampy things on my #5s. I had an engine or two that liked to get their rollers hung up on crossovers. I also have a collection of yet to be used #7.5s with them too, so Atlas did make them at one time.
