Do all the Zephyrs need the window mod? I have 7 of them that I have acquired and before I unbox each one are they all going to need to be done?

No. Only cars from the initial run have the blinds on the outside.

Thanks Jon. I've got 3 that need the mod then. I'll call Atlas and see if they still will send the windows.
I like their stuff a lot. Been in this hobby a long time and I am impressed with what's available even if sometimes there are glitches.
Atlas has my support.

love these cars. i am glad atlas produced them and continue to do so. while not perfect, i do not think i have a "perfect" model in my collection of 2 rail brass steam and diesel models. i would have loved to purchase a zephyr set from key, but that is just not in my price range at this point. so the atlas cars and the f3 units will suffice for my taste. thanks to atlas for taking on such a project. i look forward to the observation and future cars from the train.
I like my Atlas initial run CZ dome car so much that I have put venetian blinds on the outside of my home's windows!
(actually I have just the one dome car that I mix in with baggage/mail/ express cars, striving to duplicate an all-stops Hudson-powered Illinois CB&Q local, that occaisionly carried the Q's initial home-made dome car. The outside blinds don't bother me)
