Hi, I recently watched a 'you tube' video on the Miklwaukee Road 4-8-4 S3, and the poster commented that he selected Aux 1 sequence control, which appeared to automatically trigger the bell/whistle as soon as the loco was under-way.. Is this unique to some Legacy locomotives? I have a Legacy Mikado, and have had no luck finding such a feature, am I missing something? Is there a way to trigger this feature on all Legacy engines.

It is only on the latest Legacy engines, probably in the past year.
When was the Mikado cataloged?
It's in 2012 Signature Edition, lionel #6-11260.
Check page 16 of your manual. According to the manual on line your does have it.
Press and hold AUX1 until you get a bell/whistle sound. Let go. Now when you dial the Cab2 to speed step 1 the sequence will start.
I am not sure if you must use a Legacy system to activate it though but that's what I used without issue.
FWIW it will work (to a degree) with TMCC as well. The whistle will blow and the bell will sound automtically on departures and stops, but it will lack the "speed related" effects.
Thank you all that replied...I was looking in the Legacy manual, and not the engine manual...works just great now!
is this is a fantastic forum or what...I'm sure to have lots more dumb questions.
