At first glance, your thru-yard could use a long(er) yard lead. Also, engines from the thru-yard should be able to enter the turntable without having to foul the mainline.

Sure longer yard leads would be nice, but it would cost you storage track space. I think you made very good use of the space available. GO FOR IT.
Jan,
I have been following your progress and I like your design. However in attempting to allow enough room for engines to access the yard without fouling the main, you still need a short turntable track immediately connecting to your new longer yard lead. I think that will make it just about perfect. The new yard lead would then easily accommodate any engine without pulling out on the main. Great layout !

Earl,
That was the last suggestion in my list. A short lead off the curve in the lead is what is needed.
I also don't feel that the upper right lead into the turntable is needed.

Made those updates too. Good suggestions! Thanks.

Same here. Thanks!
I kept the top right lead into the turntable so a train can enter it either direction of travel.

It's a beautiful track plan for an operator who like to do lot's of switching. That is what I assume you are rather than a runner. You can only run one train unattended at a time and no trains passing each other, so make sure you are ok with that.
The only other thing I see is your two parallel turntable leads are very close together. Do you have room for the servicing facilities you want there?
You don't need it on the mainline. You can put it on the yard lead and enter the turntable on its SW side.
