I thought hanging it was fairly simple and I hung it myself.  I took my time putting it up with painter tape (around edges) first.  Then rolled it back and started gluing on about 12-14" at a time....working out air bubbles right along.  I had ZERO issues hanging it.  Having another person to help would make the process even easier.

Did you use Masonite in the corner?

Nice.  I like the "fit" with your room and the work you've done on the layout.

Yes...I used Masonite. I built a brace in the corner and made a cyclorama (I didn't think the back drop would look as good in the corner. I used liquid nail to attach directly to the dry wall. Then I used drywall mud to fill the seams.

HI George,

The website took a while to get through to find what I needed!!  However, I had a very good experience when I called to place my order.  They were in the process of moving their business from Arizona to Colorado...so there was a 2 week lag but it was completely acceptable given the circumstances.  I am very happy with the quality of the backdrop.

Thanks for the picture.  It looks great and you did a fantastic job of hanging it!  Too many layouts don't have backdrops.  It's funny because backdrops are seldom written about (Yes I did Mark, in my book :-)) or used on layouts, but make ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.

Reminds my of sound in engines.  When I heard my first engine with sound, that was it.  I would never have another engine without sound because SOMETHING IS MISSING.

With a backdrop, SOMETHING IS MISSING.
