Backdrops

I am interested as well. I've never seen those before. They look great.

I've used them...there from SCENIKING BACKGROUNDS  and there listed in our scenery source list at the head of this category...HOWEVER...they went belly-up about a year ago due to family illness, and at this point there little or nothing available even though they were widely distributed. I still have one but without the ability to add continuation segments to it it's going to gather dust I suspect. But it was sure nice stuff.

It's too bad because those are great looking backdrops.  It looks like they went out of business in 2015.  See notice in the yellow rectangle below.

Thanks for your post.  I am looking for backdrops to start that will go behind a small Midwestern town.  They can be small stores, businesses, or homes.  Not big, expensive suburban homes, but small town USA homes.  And rolling farm land with corn fields, barns, silos, windmills, and etc.

We have dozens of farm scenes from Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Upstate New York, Virginia and Tennessee. We are also working on a "main street USA" with architecture from the 30's through the 50's which should be done in about 30 days.

They are still selling backdrops on line, just bought 4. From Sceniking.

I am an extremely satisfied customer of Railroadbackdrops.com.  Their work has been excellent.

These photos were taken on location (on the Ohio River) in October 2017.   The backdrops are now part of the Panhandle.

This last photo is mine (taken in 2010), but they processed it into a vinyl backdrop.
