I recently uncovered one of my ps3 steam engines to find as it turns the tether will short at some points. It is indeed a loose wire not making a connection inside of the engine. I have absolutely no idea which one it is, but it is frustrating me to extreme levels.  As I said in a recent post, as the engine turns it then will cause faulty connection and will shut off all power. I would greatly appreciate a fix for this. I zip tied the tether wires inside the engine to the motor, and found that as a temporary fix.  If you watch the video you will see what I am talking about.

Thank you

it is a minor issue to replace the tether so I would NOT RUN it until you either replace the tether your self or have an mth service tech to replace it for you. if you get a short it WILL blow the ps 3 board! tether is much cheaper then ps 3 board! your tether need replaced or repaired . I have the parts if you would like it repaired!

email sent!
