1) At least a year for estimated delivery, assuming enough reservations/orders are placed.

2) Sunset/3rd Rail locomotive models come with ERR TMCC command control. So, yes you could run it with your DCS control set-up, if you have a TMCC Comand Base and the interconnecting cable to your MTH TIU unit. It is all covered in your DCS manual.

3) Just a guess, but the price should be at least $1499.95.

Lee,

As Jack and John stated it will be sometime in 2013 if reservations are sufficient.

Typical Sunset experience with B&O power is that most reservations come in within the first few months so production can be started earlier than with some other projects.

I intend to display my 2 rail Westside modernized P-7 at York in October which will also help build reservations. Although my model has the shorter tender as used in the P-7c subclass I may paint my T-3 tender blue to show what a P-7e looks like.

One difference will be that the P-7e will use the tender with rounded water cistern top whereas the T-3 used the squared water cistern.

Hi rheil, aye I thought so. No problem, I was just sure I had seen T3s with both. I have a picture in a book with one of the B&O's lighter pacifics sporting an 8 wheel tender that has clearly come from a P7. So I suppose its been a hand-me-down from one of the P7s that obtained a 12 wheel tender or a P7 that got scrapped early ??.

  Cheers  DAVY
