Your CAB-2 will say "base not found" if it's not on the same channel as the base, no matter how close it is.

Try cycling the base through the different channels (button on bottom of base), and the remote should find it.

I assumed CAB-1 was a typo since there is no display on a CAB-1.  If you really have a  CAB-1 that has a base issue, it's much harder to change the channel!

Dave: You're correct; its a CAB-2. Thanks for the information; will try that.

If the base is unplugged or powered off, there is a boot up time, approx 10 seconds, that needs to occur before the Cab2 will connect.  Watch for the 3 lights on the bottom of the base to sequence, Green to Yellow to Red, before trying to power the Cab2.  Trying to connect before that will show a "Base Not Found" error.
