Absolutely! All that I use are NiMHs.

BillyGee (Bill Ingraham) on the OGR just upgraded my 2 DCS hand held remotes with fully rechargeable batteries, all I do is plug the unit in to recharge it. Most guys use the batteries Barry is using, as they get low you simply switch them out, I used those batteries for year, and finally wanted a completely rechargeable DCS hand held remote. I simply switch remotes and place the low one on the charger to regenerate it, while using the 2nd fully charged remote. I love it.

I've been using NiMHs in my remotes for years. I have several sets. When a remote goes dead, I do a quick battery swap and the grandkids & I are back up running.
