How long should I have my battery charger, (mth) connected to my 3 volt system to get a full charge?

Depends, of course, on how discharged it is. The PS2 board recharges the battery, so if train is used regularly it should never need recharging. Most batteries I've seen say the initial charge should be 16 hours.
