First of all there is a large bakery called "Love's" in Honolulu, Hi. I always liked this tanker & when a "pup" (small trailer) became I decided to buy it. My idea is to use it as a snack bar at the beach. I'm not sure I like the way this diorama came out so I don't know whether I'm going to keep it or make changes to it. I welcome any criticism keeping in mind that my layout is a toy train layout & not a hi-rail.

On our cross-country road trip from Florida to WA state in 2012, my wife and I got gas at countless Love's service stations once we got into Texas, if memory serves. They were always decent places to gas up and in the southwest were often the only place to get food for many miles in any direction. They often had the best gas prices if there were other stations around.

They opened one way south of where we live and I must admit I like stopping there for gas if I'm heading that way.

I sure do like the Palm trees....  It looks pretty good to me.

if I could make any suggestion, I think I would eliminate the car parking on the lower end of the picture and put a small mountain in there and give the whole setting an end point and some elevation.  it would also give the small water scene a beginning, particularly if you let the water run down the hill.

My best to you Spence.
