Anybody know might have a replacement belt for the 9308 aquarium car....same as the PW 3435 car...checked Jeff Kane and several others...to no avail...thanks...joe

I looked not too long ago & Lionel parts had several belt versions in stock for modern-era aquarium cars. These work off a gear or motor-drive, not "vibrator"-moved like the 9308 may have been.

No, there were several belts available. Go to www.lionel.com & search "aquarium" under parts. And, also, I am unsure if modern-era aquarium car belts will work on your MPC car.... I almost think that they will not.

You can always try a Seal A Meal machine that heats and seals plastic. Have done this before on a plastic belted drive for an aquarium car.
