Best LED strips? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I'm setting up a 2 level layout extension. It will be 4' wide by 10'6" long. The top level will be a city with a trolley line, the lower level will have a station and a lot of track for storage yards. There will be about 6 inches between levels once the base, foam, and track are in. My son recommended putting LED strip lighting above the bottom level tracks, which I thought was a good idea.

I'm asking if anyone has a strong recommendation of one strip lighting brand over another. There are so many on eBay, that it is not easy to evaluate which one might be the best and most reliable. I've found too many of the eBay suppliers to offer unreliable items.

I've already done something similar. I just picked a set that I though might work. They could be brighter, but so far, they are doing the job.

One comment: Don't buy the right angle connectors! They don't work very well, if at all. I found that a soldering pencil and flux were my friends. OTOH, purchased extension wires worked well.
