Best modern alternative to an AF 30B? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

What is the best modern transformer alternative to a postwar AF 30B? Need one with similar voltage (18V) and power (300W), but does not generate chopped, clipped, or squared-off AC b/c that burns out Air Chime Whistle and Diesel Horn speakers. Thanks.

The MRC Pure Power Dual is the best modern match to the 30B. Despite the apparent ratings difference (270W), it actually has a higher output power than the 30B and is a pure sine wave. It has built in amp and volt meters.
