I'm only needing to spray the rear end of a 218 A unit and need to match the silver/gray/whatever the original was - suggestions for a rattle can? Manufacturer and color? Thanks in advance

OK, I'll give ya'll one more chance! What color would you use for the gray portions of a 218 Santa Fe? I bought some metallic gray and it looked so bad, I sprayed over it (within one hour) with just a flat gray, which doesn't look right either. Is there a brand that's carried locally in a spray can that you use and think makes a pretty good match? Thank you!

I wonder if the paint on a 2343 would work. Here's a thread with a suggestion. I have no experience trying this.

I did some searching and found the number for Testors model master paint (german silver) TES2914. Looks like it was discontinued. It may be available in store if they have old stock.

Thank you Frank - I Googled that number and didn't see any hits where anybody still had some stock, but I'll keep looking.
