Billboards

hey all,

im looking to make some custom billboards and frames, the frames would most likely be close to the lionel 310 type. I know some guys have created their own billboards/signs. And lighted them. My question is what do you guys all use for lighting? I'm thinking leds but want to mount them in a way that looks professional. I did see one picture that looked really good. I think it was for a state park setting.

Anyway if Anyone used leds for lighting how did you hide the resistors and everything?
