Gray base coat

The wood floor was stained with Micro Mark railroad tie brown/gray. The cross beam will hold the interior lights. before adding the interior I painted the building off white and the front porch concrete.

The tin roof was made using Plastruct ribbed siding. I painted it dull aluminum (dull nickel also works) then used powders for the rust (customer wanted very light rusting)

The windows and doors are multi-piece assemblies. I painted them green while still attached to the sprues, cut them out assembled, installed then did some touch up paint. I did add the porch beams in between the posts for extra support.

All in all this is a fairly easy kit to assemble

I got to see this model and meet Joe this past Friday afternoon. Great guy and a master builder. I picked up a model from him for my layout. His model studio was awesome to see. Wish I had some of his talent.
