There was a book on basic electronics for beginners discussed a number of times on this forum. After watching both Dales and Gunrunners many posts, I would like to get my feet wet in some of the simple projects/ Not knowing a diode from a resister a book on basic electronics would be very helpful. "Getting started in electronics" by Forrest Mims. Out of print but used copies available on Amazon and Ebay. Excellent book once issued by Radio Shack,very simple and easy to understand.. Sadly RS is no longer a place where learning electronics is stressed.
