Rearranging things for a new layout and want to take the ZW I previously used for the TIU and move it to accessories.  My layout is not huge and the planned loads for the TIU outputs should be less than 100 watts each .  It seems the Lionel 135 watt units are a good value, even considering the adapter cable I will need.  Any positive or negative experiences on the Z-1000 brick versus the 135 watt lionel power brick?

Thanks in advance!

Good point and you nailed me, I have a bunch of fuses and I intended to be a cheapskate and get the 135w (about half price of the 180W in most places).  Your suggestion gave me the motivation to rethink this.  I had a z-1000 brick I stole from its controller and planned to add the 135 watt lionel.  It is a good bet that the 180W will do all.  Time to recalculate and maybe I can sell the Z-1000?

In continuing searches on the forum, for those interested in the 180W: this is a very detailed thread too.
