I am building a new station that has six(6) escalators; 4 long and 2 short. The steps were 3D printed. The glass(acrylic) sidewall and moving black handrail were made on a laser cutter. I need to paint, remove paper for the clear sides and assemble. The four long escalators feed the passenger loading platform to a mezzanine part of the station that is then fed by two shorter escalators to the main ticket part of the station.
I showed these to my wife who commented on the stationary ( non-moving ) escalator stairs and said they are not moving. Just like a real station where the escalators are BROKEN; Hence the thread title.
